Cynthia was brought in to a vet clinic a week or so ago to be euthanased. It was a school 'watch a chicken hatch and grow' project. One of the kids tried to pull off her beak. The clinic offered to crop feed her to see if the beak was functional as she grew so she was surrendered to the clinic. So far, she's coping. She is the most hilarious, affectionate, friendly, noisy bird ever. Her name is Cynthia. If she manages to self feed enough without daily crop feeding she'll get a friend and a garden.
