I recently adopted a 30 year old yellow-napped amazon parrot. This is her second day settling in at our home. As she relaxes she is getting the courage to explore her toys and discovers peanuts hidden in them!
"Baby Girl" had gout in her years prior to coming to us and had to have part of her feet amputated. While she may seem unsteady at times she doesn't seem to know there is anything wrong with her.
